Tiffany Williams

Tiffany is pursuing her B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with a concentration in controls, and a minor in Spanish. She served as a research assistant under Dr. CJ in the Control, Computation, and Cybernetics Lab Spring 2010. In the C3 lab, she worked with a graduate student to create an estimator to estimate immeasurable states. The purpose of this estimator was to balance a cube on one of its edges with no direct measurements. She has interned for Raytheon IDS, Integrated Defense Systems, for two summers and will intern again summer 2011. There, she worked with the EDD, Electrical Design Directorate, setting up different specification sheets in order for the engineers to run multiple tests. Tiffany has experience in microelectronics from working the Department of Defense as a Co-op Spring 2010. She has been heavily involved on campus and giving back to the community. She served as Programs Chair of the National Society of Black Engineers for her schools chapter for three terms and chapter President for one term. She has been a member of Student Government, and the Baptist Student Ministries where she completed a mission one summer. Upon graduation, she would like to find a full time position that will utilize her skills and experiences while challenging her to be an innovator leader.
